Finlay Fine Jewelry Corporation is one of the leading retailers of fine jewelry and the largest operator of licensed fine jewelry departments in department stores, with over 1,000 locations throughout the United States, and operates through the Internet.
Finlay Fine Jewelry Corporation’s brands included Caryle & Co., J.E. Caldwell, Park Promenade, Congress Jewelers and Bailey Banks & Biddle Fine Jewelers. Additional information on Finlay Fine Jewelry Corporation and its brands is available at www.FinlayEnterprise.com.
In 1994, Finlay began test operations of a chain of company-owned outlet stores, called New York Jewelry Outlet. Operations, which had grown to seven locations by 1996, primarily focused on shifting inventory from department store showroom locations across the US, in to markets where consumers were more price conscious. New York’s famed diamond district created the legacy for such operations.
Today, the operation shadows its former self by offering discontinued or seasonal products to consumers, wholesalers, and discounters.
